8/29/2018 0 Comments Feeling Worthless is not Worth it!Worthless: Of no importance or value; without excellence of character, quality, or esteem; serving no purpose.
Isn’t that definition just hard to read? Yet, this is one of the most common trapped emotions that comes up for my clients and for me. There isn’t a one of us who wakes up and says, “Oh, I think I’m going to feel totally worthless today. Let’s see how I can live that out.” We hide it so well, but it has a way of catching up with us. Many of us women who are in our 60’s saw few role models of strong women who claimed their importance in the family or who were acknowledged for the contributions they made to the world around them. Whether as a parent, a bread-winner, a super-woman, a PTA organizer, or soccer mom. Sometimes this feeling worthless, turned into unhealthy habits or even sickness. Our younger women colleagues and family members work so hard to pay off school loans, build a meaningful life, and avoid falling apart that there seems to be nothing left for the loving and living we want to do. So many days we flop into bed wondering if anything we had done that day mattered--mattered to the world or to our loved ones. Feeling worthless, just isn't worth it to ourselves, our loved ones, or the world! We want to bring our whole beautiful selves to every day. We want to show that confident, wise, calm person we are deep inside and who wants to come out to show the world. it is so, so possible! When “worthless” comes up in a session, we clear it energetically and release that pain into the cosmos. We take a moment to see what memory comes up that is tied to that feeling (if it does), recognize its roots, nod an acknowledgment, and let it go. Unless there are other trapped emotions (or miasms or misalignments, etc.) that surround that traumatic memory or event, then we release those, too. After releasing these trapped traumas from the body and soul, we can turn to setting a more positive conscious intention. The simple phrase, “I am enough, and that is all I need to know today” when repeatedly said aloud helps train the conscious brain and the subconscious brain to see and feel the world differently—with more clarity, confidence, and calm. By repeating this healing intention until you can feel (with your heart energy and spirit) that it is becoming a part of you, you can watch your body and soul heal as it wants to heal. You can leave the past behind, in its place, and move forward into your future. You can become more joyful in life and less bogged down with the feeling of being worthless. Your purpose for each and every day can be worked out with clarity, confidence, and calm. Your worth will shine, and your strength will grow.

Unworthy: Not good enough; beneath the dignity of; not commendable or credible; undeserving; not valuable or suitable; unbecoming.
I’ve struggled with writing this article because feeling unworthy is so deeply embedded in many of my clients and has been a strong part of my own past trapped emotions. I grew up in a small town in North Dakota, USA, and my father didn’t want to take communion at our local Lutheran church because he said he felt “unworthy.” I knew my father to be a good man, a respected man, and a loving father. What made him think he was so unworthy that he couldn’t receive the sacrament of forgiveness and restoration? Now I understand that the sense of not being good enough is the flip side of seeking perfection. Of thinking you must perform at a certain level, be a certain kind of person (often unattainable!), look a certain way, or achieve unfathomable things. Perfection. “The Gifts of Imperfection” by Brene’ Brown, Ph. D. is a great read, and a group of us studied it together. That is when I came to grips with the simple statement that “I am enough.” “Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are.” That’s the tagline to the book. It means that we need to let go of the hidden beliefs that we’ve acquired from our families, from our schools, from our cultures and faiths, that say we aren’t good enough. That we must BE MORE. I found that by releasing my sense of being unworthy, I can allow my life to develop the courage, compassion, and connections that undergird my soul today. I can be more at peace knowing that I can do good work for its own sake and its own satisfaction. I do not need perfection nor do I need to please anyone else. It has taken me courage to share my story of weakness when I’d rather say I’m strong. Or the times I have known someone’s compassion when I’ve fumbled the ball at work or as a friend. Or, how I’m learning to depend on compassion from my family and new friends here in Malaysia as we get used to each other’s quirks and personalities. One speaker encourages her listeners to write “I Am Enough” in lipstick on their bathroom mirrors. Folks have written back that just by seeing that every morning and every evening, their lives have calmed, and their confidence has grown. If you struggle with never feeling good enough or with other trapped feelings and beliefs that hold you back, I am here for you. You don’t have to go this path alone. Through my special Compassionate Energy Clearing, I can help you release the blocks that hold you back from the life you want to lead. Maybe one of these is part of you, too.
A trapped emotion that often comes up is “Love Unreceived.” The Emotion Code/Body Code definition of Love Unreceived is, “A feeling that love expressed is or has been rejected. Feeling unwanted, not cared for; not accepted; a lack of love where it is desired.” I was recently doing energy clearing work with a teacher who feels disproportionately discouraged when parents don’t accept what he is working on with their child. The subconscious revealed Love Unreceived. My client immediately resonated with this because he knew that he pours his heart and soul into each student and their learning. How could the parents not understand?! How could they not appreciate the lengths he would go to help their child grow and think and develop as a person and a thinking/feeling person at that? With every teacher-student encounter, he appropriately expressed his love for that student by giving his very best as a teacher, counselor, mentor, and advisor. How could parents not see it? As our conversation continued, we realized that his heart chakra is carrying the energetic weight of his student-parent-teacher relationships. Intuition said that we have more energy work to do to balance the heart chakra so that this “Love Unreceived” emotion can calm, be kept in perspective, and release challenges more quickly in the future. And, we’ll strengthen the other chakras so he can have greater insight into situations (Chakra 6), speak truth with parents in a clear manner (Chakra 5), and listen without the added burden of overwhelming feelings (Chakras 3 & 4). I also see “Love Unreceived” come up in parent-child relationships or partner-partner relationships. Many times parents say things that are deeply hurtful to their children, like a simple blurt like, “you’ll never amount to anything.” Or, “Don’t try, the world is against us anyway.” Spouses can do the silent treatment, the passive-aggressive little snips that hurt, or the body language that says, “you’re just not worth it.” These hurt, and they accumulate into that low-vibrating negative energy called “Love Unreceived.” Emotions that get trapped inside us are often a compound ball of energy that has grown over the years from a variety of reasons. Maybe you learned it at home: a nuanced way of coping with people, places, things, and situations that reflected the way your family dealt with things. Maybe it is the result of many encounters in life where you wanted love and found it rejected. It can be anything! By releasing this emotion, you are releasing its hold over you and its propensity to keep popping up when you least expect it. Sure, there are times when our love is rejected—for whatever reason. But we don’t have to be held captive to its pain when it happens. You can be free from this unhappy energy and other unhappy energies by releasing them energetically and allowing your body to rebuild higher-level vibrations of love, joy, compassion, and peace. That’s really what your body and soul want to do. Heal itself. And, it can. I’m Denise, and I do Compassionate Energy Clearing© through my practice, Dynamic Life Healing. Wherever I would go, I told God Above, whether USA or internationally, it had to give me more trees and birds. So here I am, living on an island in Malaysia, with beautiful palm trees and a variety of other trees right below me on the beach. And a family of Black-naped Orioles warbling below my balcony. When I take a moment to listen, I am enthralled. I remember my request to the heavens above and realize that I am living my creation, my abundance beyond measure. Oh, I am grateful. Have you heard of the Law of Attraction? I fully believe that by recognizing my heart’s desire and naming it, I helped bring those trees and birds right to my patio. I know there are plenty of crows or blackbirds here, but the beautiful songs of the Orioles bring me so much joy. I also wear a symbol of the tree of life around my neck. In Celtic and Norse traditions, the tree is a symbol of immortal life in that it is rooted and grounded in the earth from which it draws sustenance (like our energy cords that ground us to earth’s energy), and its seed bears the blessing of new life going forward. The trees draws in the light from above and around it, and it offers shelter for many living things. Much as we draw light and cosmic energy from above. Recent studies even show that trees talk to each other through their roots. We have all heard them “sighing” in the wind. I use a tree symbol during our free consult and clearing session. I start with a basic assessment of your personal tree of life. We review your success, spiritual growth and well-being, relationships, money flow, and health and well-being. We assess the happiness of each section and see what your subconscious and Spirit have to report. We can then prioritize (via muscle testing) which section to work on first, and clear whatever is blocking that part of your life. Your body and soul want to live in happiness which means they want to function at higher than the 50th percentile in life possibilities. You can experience it. I am. And I say thank you to the Universe for sending the birds and trees for my (and the world’s!) enjoyment. Are you curious about how this energy work can impact your life? I can understand that. The most simple way is for me to show you through a free consultation. Would you like to schedule some time with me now? Did you notice a small change I made to the Dynamic Life Healing logo? Its tagline now says, Compassionate Energy Clearing.
I made the change because I’m growing more and more aware of my personal calling to gently handle your precious life and life challenges with a care that passes understanding. I want to be completely present with you at each and every session with a heart full of compassion and a deep connection to Spirit. You’ve heard me say before, that I start each session with prayer, and in that prayer I ask for a compassionate heart for myself and my own foibles and for the body and soul of my client. When in that zone of compassion, I find myself focused in love and not judgment. Spirit guides my thoughts, my intuition, and my questions to work for your highest good and for the highest good of the Universe. It is my calling. So, I decided to make the change on my logo. Sure, I still use many of the same modalities to help you release those pesky trapped emotions and traumas. But this focuses on the way in which I want to do it. What do you think? Could you use more compassion in your life? If so, I invite you to schedule a time for us to talk about what more you'd like to experience in life. To prepare:
The session:
Why connect to the subconscious?
Do I have to tell you my secrets?
What happens after the session?
Will I notice any changes?
This is what happens all in 30-60 minutes by phone or Skype. It never, ever ceases to amaze me! By investing in your own healing via energy clearing and then combining it with intuitive coaching, you can get unstuck and move forward into your new life, loves, and passions without added meds, lengthy therapies, or painful processes. I’m living proof. Have I answered your questions? Would you like to see if this is a good fit for you? Let's start with a free consultation. That’s what I’m doing next Saturday here in Penang, Malaysia. Stepping out of my comfort zone.
The owner of a lovely restaurant in downtown Georgetown is quite spiritually attuned and was a Reiki practitioner in her past. She suggested to my colleague, Wayne (an experienced medium and psychic), and me that we could use her restaurant to host folks who have a similar interest—folks who want to make spiritual connections or release energy blocks. I suggested the High Tea & Mystics theme, and it is taking off. Tina will make scones, clotted cream, sweets and savories with tea and coffee. And, Wayne and I will meet privately with folks for a brief energy clearing and/or reading. This is a new way of doing things for me. In Asia. At a restaurant. Yet, I’ve been meeting folks right and left who have an interest in getting their bodies and souls in alignment with their higher purposes. They want to feel better inside and out. It is a simple wish and yet a profound one. So, Wayne and I will offer our time, skills, and spiritual connections to see what can be cleared or what message Spirit has for folks who come. We know that each one has a purpose for being there. So, we will do our calling and serve with love and compassion. And, Tina’s scones and clotted cream will be a delicious bonus. Come on over! |
