Water. Just drink water.

How are things going for you? What is helping you stay strong during this time of challenge?

Do you know what is the number one thing that my clients struggle with?

It’s not backache, or feeling anxious, or grief...though those things are very real and come up to be dealt with from an energy imbalance standpoint…

No. It’s dehydration.

Not enough water. Nowhere near enough water. 

You see, our bodies are about 60% water (with blood, brain, heart, lungs, muscles, and kidneys being close to 80% water). 

So, if you are skimping on your intake of good, pure water, you are making it very difficult for your body to process its processes in a healthy way. 

I do muscle testing in my energy work with clients. That means that I “tune in” to your energy field and subconscious to ask yes or no questions. Your subconscious just doesn’t lie. I get the readings through my trained intuition or through the pendulum I use that energetically responds to your energy field.

And, over and over again, it tells clients to drink more of the right kind of water for them. Not sodas, not fruit juices, not coffees--just good, clean water that is right for them. It will even tell us if a certain type of water is needed and for how long.

Because we are all so often behind in our water drinking.

It really can help to process those strong emotions that we’re all feeling right now if you are properly hydrated. For most of us, the healthcare professionals suggest 8-10 cups of water a day, depending on your size. 

Emotions are energies and sometimes they get stuck in us. And energies attract more like-energies, meaning, e.g. anger energies will attract more anger energies.

If you are properly hydrated, those emotion energies can flow out of you rather than stay stuck 
inside your body where they will later fester and cause problems. 

So, good, wholesome water it is, Friends. Add it to your list of things to be aware of in your daily living.

Keep Moving, Any Kind of Moving Will Help.

When I was a kid, you’d always find me with my nose in a book. Mom had to make me go outside to play.

To this day I am not athletic or even outdoorsy [caveat: once outside and enjoying the adventure, I love walking and hiking and water exercise back when we could do those things].

Now that we’re inside much more, we must still keep our bodies moving. Bend over, pick something up, move your legs, get up and down with the kids, watch a YouTube with an exercise that you’ll do, whatever it takes to twist and bend, rattle and roll. . 

It’s one of the first things we who do energy work with clients will say: get up and move. Move the fluids throughout your body. Clean out your lymph system by physically moving your body so that the lymph moves, too. Here’s what the lymphatic system does (but nothing moves unless we physically move it in our bodies):

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body.Feb 21, 2018

This is going to help your energy balances, your mental health, and your immune system. Some things that we all need to pay attention to these days.

There are great Yoga videos on YouTube, chair yoga, laughter yoga, more traditional aerobics, and even movements you can do while in bed. It all adds up. 

Just so you know, I’m not a healthcare professional and cannot prescribe anything for you. But I know from personal experience that moving my body really helps my mind and soul, too.

Open the window :)


​Hi, again, this is Denise, and I’m in what’s called “Movement Restriction Control” in my hometown here. That means we need to stay home, stay off the grounds, and only go out for food, doctors, or absolute necessities. 

And I’m getting along OK at this time.

We
e talked yesterday about how important it is to keep a routine during times of stress, a regular rising and sleeping, eating, tidying, talking to friends, and so on.

What is important for your routine? Take a moment and ask yourself that question. Then, be sure to do it.
As a life coach and energy practitioner (I’m a Certified Body Code Practitioner), I keep a routine of getting fresh air during the daytime hours. And I love that I get to be by a big body of water to feel its rhythms.

Every morning, I get up and throw open the patio door to see where the tide is at, who’s out fishing, and if there are any rainclouds. 

I breathe in the fresh air, I feel the wind (if there is any), and I do my stretches on the balcony. 

l the further I can get outside these days, but even an open window and a fan (weather permitting, of course), can make all the difference in your days. 

And, of course, if the air is polluted...well, that’s another story.

So, I encourage you to add some good, healthy, outside air into your lungs and into your home. Speak your gratitudes to the birds outside and the trees as they wave to you.

A new norm is coming...

​I wanted to share a quick message with you considering the events that are unfolding on the planet as we speak. The COVID-19 events directly affect our lives, because we know that tomorrow will not be the same.

There will be a new normal, and it’s coming. Pretty fast. 

I also don’t want to scare you any more than you are already traumatized. 

I’ve been on a Movement Control Order for the whole country for over four weeks now. And, I’m getting a little antsy. 

Now I am sure you have received lots of emails regarding this state of affairs, but this one is unlike any that I have sent before.

Why? Because I want to help you move past the fears, the anxiety, and the disconnectedness you might currently be experiencing when you think about the future.

I want to help you move towards a future with confidence, clarity, and courage. I want you to know that I’m here to support you and help you move away from the panic and towards your purpose. 

I want to see you thrive in that new normal that is just around the corner. 

So, What’s Going to Happen?

Most places are now in shutdown mode if not complete lockdowns. We’re on a Movement Control Order here, and it is helping slow the rate of the spread of the virus.

But it has been devastating for businesses, transportation, workers, and healthcare, to name a few. Businesses will go under and some will thrive and have more success than ever before.

In the midst of this tragedy, there is opportunity. It’s the time to think, reconsider, reassess, and plan for action. 

The bad news…
There will be a big hit to the worldwide economy. But you already know that. 

What does this mean to you? 

Well, it means things will not be the same when we emerge from this. We’ll need to re-tool our thinking, how we relate to each other, how we do an economy, and what really matters to us. As individuals and as communities.

And this is what I’ve learned after lots of hard knocks…after all, this is Denise you’re talking to right now. 

You know me, who has been through it and has discovered a different way of approaching life that has made all the difference. 

If we have ignored our inner life, our true voice, our purpose, our spirituality, and the love that brings us life, then we will be hurting. Again, as individuals, communities, and nations.

The good news…
Those who have cleared their emotional, psychological, and spiritual clutter will have the advantage to move forward quickly into a new life with purpose, and a life they’ve chosen by design. Not just what the current culture told them to be or do, but a life they’ve intended based on what brings them meaning. 

This is a new day. It’s just around the corner.  

That’s because they grabbed this opportunity to go deep inside themselves, let go of inner pain and blockages, connect to a deeper purpose, and set healthy, loving, insightful intentions for their futures. 

And that is the key. And I’m talking about you. And me.

Do that inner work FIRST, and the outer situations will start falling into place once you are aligned with your higher and true purpose.

Will you be ready? Or do you want to just re-enter your past and live the same old, same old? You really do have choices here. 

I know, because I made different choices in my life that brought me into a whole new way of living. With confidence, clarity, and courage. And a lot more calm. 

I want to support you as you move your life and your purpose into a new day. A new world. A new you. 

Can you design a better life for your future?

I’m going to bring my lifetime of wisdom, experiences, learning, teachings, and knowledge to helping you not just survive this time but build hope for thriving for tomorrow. 

What I’m hoping is that if more of us take this time to ask ourselves some tough questions, release unhelpful behaviors and beliefs, reorient our deepest yearnings, and then redesign our lives and futures—we will each have a profound impact on the wellbeing of our world.

The key right now…

If you’re finding yourself getting swept up in the fear, and you’re trying to make life decisions, then you might be setting yourself up for failure. 


The key right now is to breathe, be calm, and take a step back before you make any decisions. 

Right now you need to do the inner work needed so you’re ready for the next step that is ready to unfold for you. 

Can you turn this into an opportunity?

Absolutely…and you should! 
For you…and if you’re doing good for you, that good flows out to everyone around you. 

This isn’t about being selfish or self-centered, this is about healing yourself so you can have the clarity, confidence, and courage to live into the new day that is coming.

The world needs you. The real, whole, healthy you. 

Now, most folks will be pulling down the shades, contracting rather than expanding, shutting things down. I know we have to be on our toes to make it through this time, but this is not the time to shrink from the opportunity to move forward into a new life, a new world.

It’s an opportunity for you to strategize on how you want to change your life.

It’s an opportunity to start—one-by-one—new habits, perspectives, healthy beliefs, that will carry you through to the other side, the future you want to live.

And

It’s an opportunity for you to be person you want to be and give back to the world around you.
 
And
 
It’s an opportunity for you to dream bigger than you’ve dreamed before. 

Here’s what I’m personally doing…
  • I’m in isolation as that’s the rule here on my beautiful tropical island. 
  • I’m live on Facebook sharing words, videos, funnies for hope and life, on Skype and Facetime with clients, on daily webinars learning and sharing.
  • Joining with other energy practitioners to support each other and our clients.
  • Doing my own daily meditations and gratitudes with friends.
  • Not listening to the news. Need I say more?
  • Learning and practicing healthy inner exercises so I can share them with you, too.

What I’m doing is creating a clear pathway through this situation that will lead my clients, friends, and tribe to designing a new life for the future. 

Uncommon, out-of-the-ordinary strategies, if you will…
