Adventure of a Lifetime

Today, I find myself in the beautiful country of Malaysia. This is the next step in my journey of Getting Unstuck and Moving Forward.

Malaysia is a small country connected to Thailand in Southeast Asia. It is full of hilly rainforests, sneaky monkeys, glittering seas, and growing industry. It is a country moving into its own bright future.

I invite you to join me in this journey of discovery that has been set out for me. You see, as my 60s came near and retirement loomed, I realized that I couldn’t keep on living life as usual. Adventures need to come when you’re still healthy enough to do them.

I had checked out a variety of lush countries including Costa Rica, Ecuador and Mexico. I enjoyed each one—but there wasn’t a pull to any one of them. I also traveled the USA to consider living near my children. It was great, but there was no pull.
   
It was Malaysia that called out to me with a quiet siren song. A song that repeated itself over and over until I paid attention.

I had never been here before, and I wasn’t even sure why it was Malaysia. But Spirit nudged me forward and cleared the path for the next step and then the next step.

Over the past year of incubation for this unbelievable future, I was able to retire from work, learn new skills, let go of unhelpful beliefs, go deep within, and get unstuck so I could move into my new world.

Some healings were profound and quick. Others took time while new habits had to be built to replace old behaviors.
